oops my bad the horns are stamped 811B but have welded center dividers like the photos of the 511
I drove 880 mi and bought all 4 the guy had.
just like the two I had in the 1970s they are a bit bright in the mid range future tweaking the crossover with a 100 ohm pot in series with the horn and across that a handful of .1 mfd to bring back the highs but may change this to a second pot and a single 10 mfd NP in series.

Yes Seeburg the jukebox manufacturer in those past years, late fifties, sixties, utilized Altec components in thier Jukebox extention speaker systems in larger rooms, dance halls ect. These were usually painted gold, and used the 811 HF horn with 802 driver, and 800 hz cross-over. I have bought similar speakers, but the woofers in my Seeburgs were green original Altec 12 inch models,not "stamped frame" types. I'm not sure if the woofers I see in your pics are Altec could be. You might need to check the voice coils in all HF drivers for physical, and electrical integrety. Also, the woofer cones may need inspection. Who knows if these Seeburg units you got might have been in a sixties teen dance hall playing "Sugar Shack" at high DB with low power amps, or used as PA by some teen amatuer rock garage band driving the **** out of them?
Anyhow they are a good find, and you can tinker with them or utilyze the Altec components out of them. Great Plains audio in Oklahoma City can check them out for you.

lucky on these? the juke operator I bought the 4 from had them in a warehouse since the end of disco [20 yrs?]upon inspection they are unmolested, original, inside. the details from the other post

the horn has cast in the open end

the HF driver casting has Altec Lansing Corporation in relief casting.
a sticker that has 512558 and a red stamp 8285 and a black stamp 15810.

the crossovers are an earlier fixed units
possibly by seeburg.
2 coils stamped in white A 5094542 B
and stamped in red 8275 one in series with the LF driver one across the HF driver.
a 12 mfd in series with the HF driver
a 25 mfd across the LF driver

it would not surprise me to find that some of these are seeburg inventory numbers.

they sound terrific even on some admittedly ****** little amps [10W pa on the back of a garage computer used by my son to adjust his car's computer, and used by me for the cd]headphone out.

they are ,as i stated in the other post, very bright in the midrange. I have two fixed so far, with a 3 pos rotary switch and two 4.7 NP the choices being none, 1, 2. this brings down the midrange and of course some of the efficiency.

next finish the other two and apply a better music source

PS the LF drivers in these are 15 inch and the center pole on the magnet looks to be about 1.5 inch
